CentrePoint Sport and Leisure Centre have dived straight into victory, being crowned Belgravia Leisure’s 2025 Guest First Award winner. The multi-activity venue in Blayney, NSW is a valued landmark enjoyed by locals and visitors alike and nationally recognised for its outstanding commitment to the customer experience and community engagement.
The award win is a first for the venue since its recent addition to the Belgravia Leisure portfolio, with the venue standing out for its ‘Guest First’ approach among over 250 Belgravia Leisure venues across Australia and New Zealand.
Venue Manager Megan Hamilton travelled to Melbourne to receive the award at the Awards night, joining hundreds of Belgravia Leisure leaders.
Hamilton said of the award win, “The award celebrates venues that place guests at the heart of everything they do. CentrePoint Sport and Leisure Centre stood apart with its deeply personal approach to member journeys.
“We celebrate small milestones like a child’s first swim and have launched initiatives such as the Member Spotlight and Seniors Morning Tea. These community events were both designed to foster connection, recognition and well-being.”
The guests at CentrePoint Sport and Leisure Centre feel the impact of a guest-first approach. They have awarded the venue high marks with a 4.5-star Google rating and a Net Promoter Score of 62.5. Net Promoter Scores can range anywhere from +100 to –100 and CentrePoint scored well above the 45+ KPI benchmark. The team’s strong focus on continuous improvement, continues to set the benchmark for excellence in guest experience.
CentrePoint Sport and Leisure Centre’s success was also driven by its proactive participation in the Guest First Standards Workshop facilitated by Belgravia Leisure and it implemented improvements that enhanced first impressions and guest engagement.
CentrePoint hosts a 25-metre indoor pool, programs pool, a fully equipped gym and a full-size court.
